If you haven’t noticed we have a thing for white shirts. Really. This season we’re tweaking the white button-down adding a bit of length along with a ribbon belt.
We’ll use the term “belt” rather loosely. It’s actually a 2-inch wide white grosgrain ribbon attached just beneath the front pocket and secured at each side seam. Tie the loose ends in back, tie them in front or don’t tie them at all and just let those ribbons fall elegantly to each side.
Created with an easy-care, 100% cotton pinpoint fabric (the very same material many of our Great White Shirts are fashioned with), this piece has a fit that’s somewhere in between our fitted shirts–like those aforementioned GWSs–and our loose-fitting. boyfriend-shirts.
